The event will start at 1045 with introductions and a memorial tribute to our fallen WWI Veterans. At 11am we will be participating Bells of Peace which will ring out symbolizing the signing of the Armistice at 11am on November 11th 1918. We then move to a more traditional Veterans Day Celebration to include Mayor Joh Marchand as a guest speaker and a Quilts of Valor presentation to several veterans. 5th Street in front of the Veterans Building will be closed off to accommodate static military historical displays and vehicles\, Livermore Fire Department\, and the Livermore Police Department. .There will also be free hot Dogs.
