DESCRIPTION:Join us on Thursday\,  October 5\, 2023 for TVNPA's Anti-Poverty Collaborative event\,  "Bridging the Gap."\n\n"Bridging the Gap" is more than just an event\; it's a critical effort to confront and address the community's multifaceted challenges surrounding poverty\, healthcare\, education\, affordable housing\, food security\, and economic justice.\n\n\n	Star-Studded Panel: We are honored to have Dr. Tiana Moore\, Policy Director of the Benioff Homelessness and Housing Initiative\; Jim Pugh\, co-founder of the Universal Income Project\; and Dr. Larissa Estes White\, Executive Director of the Racial Equity Commission with the Governor's Office of Planning and Research. They will bring their in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience to enlighten us on combating poverty and inequity.\n	Interactive Discussion: Sheila Burks\, Manager of Equity and Inclusion for the Alameda County Community Food Bank\, will skillfully moderate a captivating panel discussion on these urgent topics.\n	Latest Updates and Breakthroughs: The program will include updates from TVNPA's recently revised Data Profile: Just Getting by in the Tri-Valley. Additionally\, Dr. Moore will share insights from her co-authored study\, The California Statewide Study of People Experiencing Homelessness.
