Published by Oakland-based Nonprofit Compensation Associates\, NCA'\;s 2021 report will feature an updated Economic Environment section in order to capture the nonprofit sector'\;s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The survey provides a wealth of information to help nonprofits manage through these uncertain times\, including base pay\, bonus/incentive pay\, employee benefits\, salary increases and a wide variety of personnel policies.

More than 600 nonprofit organizations\, reporting on over 33\,000 jobs\, participated in the 2020 survey last year\, placing it among the largest and most robust nonprofit compensation studies in the survey'\;s 42-year history.

This survey covers a vast geographic area of 48 Northern California counties from Del Norte County in the far northwest to Inyo County in the far southeast.
