SUMMARY:Livermore High School Gymnasium Open House
DESCRIPTION:The Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District invites the Livermore community to the Livermore High School Gymnasium Open House on Saturday\, June 25\, 2022 from 5:00 - 7:00pm. Livermore High School is located at 600 Maple Street with the gymnasium location at the corner of Fourth Street and Cowboy Alley. Parking is available in an adjacent parking lot with additional parking on Cowboy Alley and surrounding streets. The wearing of soft sole shoes is appreciated. \n\nThis highly anticipated project has been a source of community interest since breaking ground in the summer of 2020 as part of Livermore's Measure J Bond facilities improvement projects. With effective management by the LVJUSD Bond Department\, in partnership with Roebbelen Contracting\, Inc. and Kitchell Construction\, project progress was accelerated while students were distance learning during the pandemic\, and completion of the gymnasium project was done ahead of schedule and under budget.\n\nThe gymnasium facility is a 2-story building totaling 49\,000 square feet and includes a main gym with mezzanine bleachers\, practice gym\, wrestling room\, dance studio\, weight room\, PE classroom\, team rooms\, boys and girls locker rooms\, concessions kitchen and patio\, and ticket booth.\n\nStill to be completed are the aquatics facilities that will include a 12-lane swimming pool\, diving boards\, and water polo field.
