Business Continuity Plans
In this informative session, attendees will learn about practical steps they can take to mitigate against, prepare for, respond to, and recover form emergencies and disasters. Our speaker will focus on the importance of continuity of operations and how you can begin to develop a continuity of operations plan that will take you beyond the immediate aftermath of an emergency or disaster.
Lunch will be provided by the City of Livermore.
About the Presenter - Herbert Cole, Emergency Manager, City of Livermore
Herbert Cole is a Certified Emergency Manager with over 30 years in the field of emergency management. As the City of Livermore Emergency Manager, he is responsible for making sure that the City can mitigate against, prepare for, respond to, and recover from “all hazard” emergencies and disasters. Herbert is a nationally recognized speaker and author on emergency management topics. He is a member of the International Association of Emergency Managers, the California Emergency Services Association, and has served as President of the Alameda County Emergency Managers Association.
