All Tri-Valley Businesses,

The City of Livermore, in partnership with
Visit Tri-Valley, is excited to announce that we will be launching a mobile-exclusive free savings passport to appeal to Tri-Valley locals in the coming year. This pass will function similarly to a free coupon book with the major difference being that it is delivered via text and email to passholders’ phones. The pass is titled the Tri-Valley Promise Pass and our focus is to support local businesses by having customers take the “promise to spend locally” by signing up for the experience. The pass will be available on a mobile-exclusive platform and will be a key component of marketing campaigns moving forward.

Here are the top 3 things you need to know to be involved:

  1. As a featured partner there is no cost to you to participate.
  2. We are asking all participating businesses to offer an exciting coupon or discount to passholders as an incentive to visit your business and spend money with you.
  3. Flexible redemption options are built to work with any type of business - no tech, low tech, or high tech. Our business categories will include retail, dining, lodging, services and activities.

A passholder would simply present the pass on their phone at your business to redeem the offer or discount.

We have partnered with Visit Tri-Valley’s tech team to launch this passport. Their team has successfully launched many visitor and local-focused savings passes with destinations throughout the US and Canada. Recent applications for the Tri-Valley include the first Taste Tri-Valley Restaurant Week and the ongoing Tri-Valley Beer Trail.  You can sign up for the beer trail yourself to see how the technology works, or, for another successful example, see the Visit Stockton Savings Pass.

Next Steps

  1. RSVP to Justin@VisitTriValley.com today with your interest to participate. Include your business name, city, contact name, email address (required), and phone # by EOD, Tuesday, March 16.
  2. You will then receive an onboarding email from VTV’s tech team, Bandwango, with a link to a sign-up participation form where you can easily add and update how your business will be presented to the public.
  3. Representatives will follow up after you fill out the form to help answer any questions and provide redemption instructions for you to share with your staff. It’s that easy!

We aim to launch this campaign by early May! With your commitment and special offers, we can continue to make Tri-Valley a wonderful place to call home!
