About Us

HERS Breast Cancer Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that has been in continuous operation since it was established in 1998. Its mission is to support all individuals healing from breast cancer by providing post-surgical products and services regardless of financial status. Mission fulfillment is achieved through its assistance programs which provide products such as breast forms (prostheses), specialty bras, compression garments, and wigs.

This work is supported via foundation grants, individual donors, and fundraising events. Under-served individuals (low income, underinsured, and uninsured) may access products and services through our assistance programs. For patients with insurance, HERS assists with medical billing so patients may concentrate on their healing.
