ATHENA RISING CREATES ONLINE COMMUNITY

Empowering feminine community, Athena Rising, moves to enable connection while social-distancing. Invites You to Join the Launch Party.

LIVERMORE, CA:

On April 15th, from 1-2pm, Cofounders Anna Vickroy and April Gallagher will be hosting a launch party within the online network. They will be

• ?  sharing the weekly features and monthly themes for the next few months

• ?  highlighting upcoming events

• ?  inviting connections between members.

Athena Rising, a membership based feminine coworking and event space in Livermore, announced that it has created a free online community to enable connection and encouragement during the shelter-in-place mandate. While the physical location (4047 First Street) is temporarily closed, the desire and need for connection and collaboration didn’t go away, prompting the creation of a sacred virtual space. This online network is an extension of the empowering feminine community that has been growing since Athena Rising opened its doors in July of 2019.

Athena Rising creates the space for women to share their voices and learn from others; offering workshops, classes, and events hosted by their members. Athena Rising was born of the desire for connection, collaboration, and inspiration and the belief that when women are brought together in a safe non-judgmental space the result is a wisdom, strength, and healing that resonates throughout their families and into the community and world beyond.

Cofounder April Gallagher says: “It has been humbling to watch the growth and healing of some of our members as they participate in the events and classes that are offered at Athena Rising. There is a strong current of compassion, resilience, vulnerability, and courage that runs throughout the members of Athena Rising. We are proud of the village we are creating together and excited that the online community allows us to offer this connection to an even larger circle of women.”

The ‘doors’ to the online community are now open. It is free to join and leadership memberships are only $40/month.
