Salary/rate: 18 hours per week. Hourly rate negotiable.

About us: Fusion SC is the assumed name for Livermore Youth Soccer League, a California non-profit organization. Fusion SC has been serving our community since 1976. Fusion Soccer Club is in the city of Livermore, CA. serving the entire east bay of the San Francisco Bay area. The club provides youth soccer programs for approximately 2,800 players a year.

About the role: The Club Bookkeeper will oversee the club’s financial transactions and records and ensure that the business is compliant with legal requirements. The role will provide monthly reports for the BOD, pay invoices, manage accounts receivable and oversee coach expenses as necessary. Furthermore, the role will support the Operations Director with payroll, benefits, compliance, collections, audits and other tasks as necessary.

Work Hours and Benefits:
3 days a week for 6hrs a day.
Preference is Monday, Wednesday and Friday, but flexible.

Bookkeeper Qualifications and Skills:
Knowledge of and ability to learn QuickBooks.
Familiarity with spreadsheets, formulas, and data analysis tools.
Strong understanding of the main accounting principles, such as accruals.
Strong attention to detail and level of accuracy.
Capable of spotting and resolving discrepancies.
Knowledge of relevant tax requirements and how to prepare basic tax documentation.
Bank and Cc reconciliation
Management of IRA contribution deposits
Prepaid expenses tracking and reconciliation
Understanding of Insperity or similar payroll/HR platforms
