Assemblymember Rebecca Bauer-Kahan represents the 16th Assembly District - which includes the East Bay communities of Lamorinda, Walnut Creek, and the Tri-Valley. Prior to her 2018 election to the Assembly, she worked as a law professor and environmental attorney. In Sacramento, the Assemblymember is the Chair of the Assembly Committee on Privacy and Consumer Protection and is a leading voice on artificial intelligence and consumer protection. She is a strong advocate for the environment, education funding, fiscal responsibility, and more.
