About Us

RP Hope was launched in 2021 following the diagnosis of our daughter with a rare genetic retinal disease called retinitis pigmentosa. Its mission is to raise awareness as well as funds for medical research. Our primary fundraiser is a global, virtual event each spring. Visit rphope.org/events for details. We serve to educate and fund research in pursuit of effective and affordable treatments. It's a resource for those affected by RP and looking for information about this rare genetic retinal disease.
