United Studios of Self Defense

Sensei Michael Delfino started teaching in 1994, and in Livermore since 2004. In addition to over three decades of martial arts training and teaching, he is also a Certified Personal Trainer (National Academy of Sports Medicine), a skillset he brings to his lessons. He is also a Managing Partner of United Studios of Self Defense, the largest martial arts organization in North America. In June of 2025 he was recognized by the Shaolin Temple (the recognized birthplace of martial arts nearly 2000 years ago) for his contributions to the martial arts, with his name added to an engraved monument at the entrance.
