About Us

Valley Dance Theatre is the Tri-Valley's premier Ballet Company & Resident Ballet Company of the Bankhead Theater. Every year, the Company presents two professionally staged productions at the Bankhead. During the holiday season, accompanied by the Valley Dance Theatre Pit Orchestra, the Company presents a full-length performance of the, The Nutcracker. The Company also stages a spring performance, titled ''Spring Rep'', to showcase our local talent and choreography.? ?The VDT School supports dance in the Tri-Valley with studio classes for ages 2.5 to adult. The students are invited to audition for the Company's productions. Rather than recitals or competitions, our students also perform in an annual Showcase for families and friends. The Valley Dance Theatre is a 501 (C) 3 non-profit.
