LARPD Announces New Livermore Community Soccer League

Registration Opens March 25 for Fall 2026 Season

Livermore, CA —Livermore Area Recreation and Park District (LARPD) is introducing a new youth soccer league this fall, offering local families a community-centered option focused on fun, development, and connection.

Registration opens March 25, 2026, for the inaugural Livermore Community Soccer League, with games beginning August 22 at LARPD sports facilities throughout Livermore.

Designed for players of all experience levels, the league emphasizes skill-building, teamwork, and positive sportsmanship in a welcoming environment for both players and families. The program is structured to create a consistent and supportive experience, with weekly practices, dedicated field space for teams, and clear communication with our soccer league coordinator throughout the season.

“This league is about creating a space where kids can learn the game, build confidence, and play with friends,” said Sebastian Forero, League Coordinator. “I’m passionate about the game and excited to share that with our community through a fun and positive soccer experience.”

The league will offer divisions for players ages 5 to 12, with registration fees ranging from $235 to $250, plus approximately $60 uniform cost. Players will also have access to optional group training sessions throughout the season to support continued skill development. Scholarships are available through the Community Support Program funded by the LARPD Foundation.

Coaches will receive training and ongoing guidance, and parents are encouraged to get involved, with volunteer coaching opportunities available for those interested in leading their child’s team. Discounts are available for head coaches.

Teams will be formed based on U.S. Soccer age guidelines, with the option for players to request placement with friends when possible.
Families interested in preparing for the fall season can also participate in LARPD’s summer soccer and splash camps held at May Nissen Park.
Additional details and registration information will be available beginning March 25 at www.larpd.org.
